Wineries

Broger's End Kangaroo Valley

Kangaroo Valley and its surrounds are home to some exceptional wineries.

Yarrawa Estate is a great (local!) winery and famous for its dry red wine. Its further up Upper River road and then a left turn onto Scott’s road. Two Figs Winery in Shoalhaven Heads is beautiful. It has seating outside, so make sure you take some lunch along, buy a bottle of wine and enjoy the scenery!

Silos Estate near Berry is one of the older wineries with history back to 1870. Silos Estate has been producing a range of premium wines that emphasise the unique characteristics of the Shoalhaven region.

Mountain Ridge Wines is located 8km east of historical Berry, perched up on a ridge of Coolangatta Mountain it has 360 degree views to Berry, Saddleback and Cambewarra Mountains as well as east to the Shoalhaven River and Ocean.

There are also a number of fantastic wineries in the Southern Highlands including TertiniBendooley Estate and Centennial – they all have the own old world charm. Bendooley Estate also has the amazing Berkelouw Bookshop attached as well as a lovely restaurant.
